The cricket match Shaw and Lilly white's team against an Eleven representing United Australia, oommenoed on the Association's ground, Moore Park to-day. The Englishmen went first to tha wiokats, but failed to make any stand against the bowling of Turner and Ferris, only one bataman reaching double figures, namely, Lohman, with 17 (can»bt). The Eleven were disposed of far 47. The Australian team floored 76 for the loss of four wiokets.
