Palmrrbton Worth, January 2f. His Honor Judge Rawaon has been very levere on bankrupt n who hava come bt fore him for examination at the Court here during the Ust day or two. At the close of the examination of William Fen'on yestetday his Honor said he was deliberating whether he should give the debtor a week or a fortnight, but to give him an opportunity to show that his position was not due to reckless trading he would not declare hii examination dosed, And bankrupt is to come up again at the next sitting of the Ooutt. At the examination of William Whit tor, butoher, to-day, his Honor Bald the assignment by the debtor r f his property was thi» most bar* faced swindle he had met, and ha was about tt seutenoe him to three months with hard labor, when the Deputy Offioial Assignee asked for an adjournment, of the examination, which was agreed to. The third case was that of a batcher named George Sy mons, who it was shown had no capital, w.ai m bualoeai four month*, and Incurred liabilities to the extent of £150 la this case the debtor had been keeping h's mother, brother and sister out of the prooeeds of book debts. There were no assets for o editors. The Judge sentenced the bankrupt to fourteen days' imprisonment, without hard labor, as a deterrent to other bankrupt.
