WOOL SALES.

London, January 25

The January and February series of colonial wool sales opened to-day. The Attendance of home and foreign buyers was large. The competition lor all lots was animated . 7100 bales were offered. Greasy wools were generally }^d higher than at the close of last sales, scoured wools being from id to ij^d higher. The present series of wool sales closes on February 17 th.
