RAILWAYS IN PATAGONIA.
Patagonia is about the last spot on the earth's broad surface that we should expect to hear from us h promising site for a railway enterprise. But the South American Journal now states that a Mr A. Bell has applied to the Argentine Congress for permission to construct the Central Patagonia Railway from Ohubut to Chili ; he only aska a land grant of " eight square leagues" f r each mile of railway >md proposes to establish colonies along the line. He would start and end his railway at points too new to be found m our atlas of 1885.
