[Resolution.] " Resolved — That this Council do make a Special Order adopting "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886," and that such Special Order be as follows, that is to say : — SPECIAL ORDER. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested m it by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886, "The Counties Act, 1876," and the several Acts amending the same, the County ] Council of the County of Ashbur ton doth hereby adopt the provisions of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886." Provided always that ihe operation of the said Act shall be limited to a loan of £3500, which this Council proposes to borrow from the Government under the provisions of "The Government Loans to Local Bodiea Act. 1886," for the purpose of constructing a Tramway from the Mount Somers Railway Station to the Mount Somers Coal Pit, near the mouth of the River Stour.
