A few samples of ryegrass seed have been on view, but vendors' and buyers' opinions being so very wide no business ha? resulted Dairy produce, especially butter, is weak, with vory little demand. Cheese has a quiet trad* demand. Below are the prices current foe tho week: —
Wheat — Tuscan and Pearl, prime milling, 4s 5d to 4s Gd : Hunter's white, 4s 4d : second quality, 4b 2d, chicken, 3b lOd to 4s
O»ts Milling 2s ; bright short feed, Is lOd to Is lid ; Tartars and Danish. Is ft I to Is 9d.
Barley -Waiting, 2s 8d to 23 lOd ; feed, 2a 3d to 2s 41 ; screenings, 2d. Beans and PeaB — No enquiry and few offering
Rye <4rass— Maoh ne dressed, 4s 6d ; armers' parcels, 3a to 3a 6d.
Cocksfoot — Oloan heavy seed, 4d ; light an i fogpy, 3d to 3£d, Potatoes — Old out of season.
