The actual number of smallpox cases at the quarantine station is seventeen, only three being considered dangerous. The doctors do not expect any further development of the epidemic. (Received Jan. 5, 1 10 p m.) Sydney, January 5, Eight fresh cases of smallpox are reported. The boundaty of the quarantine ground are being enlarged to meet the extra requirements of the outbreak. (Received January 5. 1-30 pro ) Adelaide, January 5 Altogether there are four cases of smallpox at the quarantine station, but none are of a dangerous chancier.
