Wellington, January 4, A men named Jan McDonnell dropped dead m a paddock at Taratati while trying to catch a horse. An jAb condor. W. B. Waters, whose bankruptcy reoently created considerable stir, is said to have left by fie Waihora yesterday for Melbourne. The name of Waters appears m th 6 pasßßDger list: Fire. At a meeting of old soldiers and ssllors ta-day it was decided to form a pensioners Benefit Society, also to make arrangements for an annual dinner. Found Dead. Dunemn, January 4 Jonathan Golding, bootmaker was found dead m a paddock at Milton yeßterday. Death is inppoeed to have resulted from apoplexy.
