Chicago, Nov 19. —The Timts’, Troy. N.Y., special of November 18th, says : A terrific tornado swept down the valley of the Mohawk river this morning and wrecked the large Vitlro Works of John L. Thompson O mpany, across the river froin here. Tfiero were eight men at work in the building, six of whom were fatally injured. The first three wore at work under a large tank of vitroil and its contents were spilled over them. Their clothes re burned off and their bodies shockingly mutilated. The add put out their eyes, and in their eff rt» to get to a place of aafety they wa’ked among the ruins and were farther injured by falling timbers. The other three men were badly burned by toe vitriol, bat not so severely,'bal their iujdtiesfrom this falling timbers were fatal
