The Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand reports as follows of the local markets :—Wheat, downward tendency, 4s 5d to 4s 6d ; barley, quiet, 3s 96 to 4s 3d j New Zealand oats (feed), in better demand, from 2s nd to 3s ; New Zealand oats, (milling sort) moderate, demand firmer, 3s to 3s id ; New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s id to as 3d.
TEETULPA.
Adelaide December 21. News has been received from Teetulpa that a 5002 nugget has been found on the goldfield. (Received December 22ad, 1 p.m.)
NEW GUINEA.
Melbourne, December 22. Ip" A general agreement has been arrived at between New' South Wales, Queensland and Victoria regarding the administration of New Guinea. The Premier of Queensland has telegraphed to the Secretary of State maintaining that a colonial contribution of ;£i 5,000 annually was sufficient.
