NOTICE is hereby given that the subjoined resolution was adopted by the Aehburton County Counc 1 at a Special Meeting cf the C uncil held this day, and that the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the C ouncil, which will be held on FHIDAY, the 14th day of January, 1887, at 4 o’c’ock in the afternoon. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “ r lhe local Bodies Loans Act, 1886, “The Counties Act, 1876,' and tho several Acts amending the same, the County Council of tho County of " shbur ton doth hereby adopt the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886." Provided always that the operation of the said Act shall be limited to a loan of £3500, which this Council proposes to borrow from the Government under the prov-sio s of “The Government Loans to Local Bodie Act 1886," for the purpose of constructing a Tramway from the Mount Somers Railway Station to the Mount Somers Coal Pit, near the mouth of the River Stour.
