THE IRISH QUESTION.

I on don. December 17 Dillon, O’Brien, Harris, and O’Sneeby, prominent Land League supporters, have been arrested at Loughrea. Government have decided to prosecute Mr H’Hugh, editor of the Sligo Champion , on account of a speech delivered at a Land League meeting, inciting Irish tenants to boycotting and to the committal of agrarian outrages.

NEW HEBRIDES AND NEW GDINEA.

A Conference of Agents-General took place to-day, the subjects under discussion being the New Hebrides and New Guinea. The Hon E. Stanhope stated that nothing definite had been settled between the English and French Governments relative to the New Hebrides.
