NOTICE is hereby given that the subjoined resolution was adopted by the Ot-hburton County Counc-l at & Special Meeting of the C uncil held this day, and that the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council, which will be held on F KID AY, the Ulh day of January, 1887, at 4 o’c’ock in thd afternoon. [Resolution.] “ Resolved—That this Council do make a Special Order adopting “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,” and that such Special Order bo as follows, that is to say:— SPECIAL ORDER. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886, “The Counties Act, 1876,” and the. several Acts amending the same, the County Council of the County of * shbnr ton doth hereby adopt the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886.” Provided always that the operation of the said Act shall be limited to a loan of £3500, which this Council proposes to borrow from the Government under the provisions of “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act. 1886,” for the purpose of constructing a Tramway from the Mount Somers Railway Station to the Mount Somers Coal Pit, near the m'outh of the River Stour.
