Sydney, December 9 The Keilawarra’s crew numbered 35, all told. The total loss of life amounts to 43, made up as follows:—Twentyfive passengers of the Keilawarra, the captain and n of tbe crew, and six of the crew of the Helen Nfccol. All tbe mates and engineers of the Keilavrana were saved. Among the passengers drowned was Mrs Wilson, of Brisbane, daughter of Madame Carandini, the well known vocalist. M’Grade the Victorian jockey, was also drowned. Layer. It is feared that both Mr and Mrs Wilson have perished with the wreck of the Keilawarra steamer. The Australasian is bringing the Helen Niccoi to Sydney. The steamers Lawrence and Game Cock have gone to meet them, and it is expected they will arrive tomorrow morning. (Received December 10tb, at 1 pan.) Sydney, December 10. Mr John MacDonald, drowned In the Keilawarra, is a brother to Mr MacDonald, tbe manager of the Union Bank at Nelson. Miss' Calder Is a daughter of Captain Calder of the Keilawarra. The Schepper familly, who were all lost, have but . recently returned from Germany, and were proceeding to Maryborough. The Chamber of Commerce has voted an address of sympathy with the relatives of the deceased.
