At the Addington Saleyatds yesterday heavy entries of fat sheep were panned The supply of fat cattle was not large. So bad was it, that inferior ewes were almost unsalable, and a number of lines were passed in. The demand for wethers was hardiy as good as of late, and had it not been for two or three buyers who were filling export order*, late values would certainly not have beeamain - talned. The top price of the day for fat sheep was 16s, which was paid by Mr A. B. Tutton for a pen of wethers first p*-’za winners at the Timarn Show.
