The N.Z. L. and M.A. Co., Limited, repot# 1 as follows Our second sale of the season was held on Saturday afternoon, in the presence of a large attendance of buyers and numerous vendors interested in the proceedings. We catalogued 1587 bales (all in store), and succeeded in placing 1135 bales at prices on a level with those current at the au 'tion sales of the previous day, but scarcely on a par with those ruling at our opening sale on sth November, An analysis of the priced catalogue shows the following range of values :—Greasy halfbred. 5Jd to 91d ; do crossbred, 5d to 9JI ; do merino. 5Jd to BSd ; do pieces, to 6|d; do locks. Id to 4d -do longwool, 6*d to 7|d ; scoured halfbred, 9M to 1s 4d ; do crossbred, 6|d to la ; do merino. lOd to Is s|d : do pieces, B|d to 9Wt do looks, Bd.
