The New Zaa'and Loan and Mercantile Aeency Cimpiny, limited, report;—At Rskiia monthly sale, on 25th ultimo, an unusually large entry of catde came forward, with a sprinkling of horsea and sundries. Business was satisfactory at current values At Leeston usual fortnightly sale, on the 26th ultimo, about 2000 sheep and largo entries of cattle and pigs wore penned. Steep sold mo'o freely than of late. For Messrs Loekh"t-d B - oa, we Jsold prime far shorn crossbred her* 9a 3d ; for Mr Frankish, medium h ggets in wool 6-9 i; forward twn-tooth crossbred* for Mr Baliah 6s 2d and aged shorn merino wether- Is 3d. We also placed nice quali'y fst shorn ewes for a valued client at 7s, and for Mr G, F, Bml'h mixed ages crossbred ewes in wool, with 80 percent, 7e 91; for Mr E. White shorn do, in low condition, with 70 per cent. lambs, 3s Id. Cattle sold fairly well. We cleared three year-old steers at £4 oi and £4 14* 6d, and your gar sorts at propo-tionate values. Pigs were dull and late values declined. We sold good useful (tores up to 13s. Negtela ted privately- 800 shorn crossbreds wethers for export at 7s 3d, 17 two and tbree-year-old steers at £4 4s. In conjunction with our Rakaia and Ashburton agent, 1000 forward shorn merino wethers, 6 red 8-tooth, 2« 6d ; and 500 (at do do 4s 3d, delivered irucks, Rakaia.
