A conference between the Committee of the Imperial Institute and the AgentsGeneral took place to-day, when the points of disagreement in relation to the man -gement of the Institute were discussed. The proceedings were of a most satisfactory character. All the suggestions made by the Agents will be carried out, but the nature of their suggestions has not transpired. A USTRALIAN. The latest reports from the Kimberley goldfields state that no permanent field has yet been discovered, hitherto only prospecting being carried on. Diggers continue to arrive at Derby and Cambridge Gulf from the goldfields. Some of them bring a fair amount of gold. The diggers are in good health. Business at Derby and Cambridge Gulf is dull. TEETULPA. Melbourne, December 2. The s.s. South Australia, which arrived to-diy from Adelaide, brought ioo returned diggers from Teetulpa goldfields. Adelaide, December 2. The Bank at Teetulpa has purchased ioo ozs of gold from diggers in the neighborhood since Monday last. Water is reported to be scarce on the goldfields.
