Cattle Attacked by a Ferret Auckland, November 29 Wbile a drove of cattle was proceeding along the Ohaupan Road at Waikato the other day, a ferret raized one animal by the nose, and, on beingehaken ot. showed fight to the cattle dog and was killed. Fisher, M.HiR , was dismissed by the Bench as trivial, and no which ought never to have, been brought into Court Drowned. Dunedin, November 29. William Sinclair, a recent arrival from Ctpetown, wa* drowned while bathing in the Taieri river on Saturday night. Ma'heson who.was bathing with him, waa resented in an exhausted condition. The deceased was a a ngle man vnd bad no relations in the colony.
