The wool cargoes by the following vessels have been excluded from the approaching sales : —San Martin, Australia, Tagliaferro, and Almora. 120,000 bales are available for the sales. Melbourne " evombe - 24. Goldsbrough and Co held their weekly sale this afternoon. The rooms were crowded with buyers. Theie were 5000 bales offered, and 3500 sold. The bidding was spirited throughout for good wools, and prices firm. Greasy wool realised up to scoured and washed wools to Goldsbrough and Co report having sold during the week 5500 bales. The Manager of the National Mortgage Company reports wheat weak, 4s icd to 4s lid ; barley' is slow of sale, at 3s pd to 4s 3d; oats, feed sorts irregular, 2s pd to 2s nd ; milling quieter and weaker, 35 to 3s id ; New Zealand oats under bond are neglected at 2s 2d to 53 4d.
