HANDICAP HURDLE RACE of 16 aovs. One and a half mile, over 6 flights of hurdles, about 3ft 6in high. Second horse to receive 60s from the stake. Nomisation 10s, acceptance, 6s, 2; NOVEL HURDLE RACE of 20 aovs. One and a half mile. Over 6 flights of hmdleo about 3ft 6in high. Post entrance * 10s. Winner to be sold, and the whole of the proceeds to go to the funds of the Club. Weight lOst. 3. TINWALD GDP, a handicap of 30 aovs. One and a half mile. Second horse to receive £5 from the stakes. Nomination 16s, acceptance 16s. 4. TROTTING RACE, a Time Handicap of 15 sovs. Three miles. Second horse to receive 60s from the stake. No weight under lOst. Nomination 10s, acceptance, 6b. 6. MAIDEN RACE of 10 sovs. One mile. Weight for age: Entrance 10a. 6. PLYING HANDICAP of 10 sovs. Six fnrlongs. Entrance 10a. Cup winner to carry 71b penalty: 7. BELLING HACK RACE of 10 sovs. Half-mile. No entry will be received except under the following conditions— That all disputes, claims, attd objections arising out of the racing shall be dec d*d by the-Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme to be final. 2. C.J.O. New Rules will be in force.. 3. The Races are open to any horse commonly resident in the district from the Ist of October to the date of meeting, and owned by a person who has resided in the district during the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on the north by the Selwyn River and on the south by the Orari. 5.
