HANDICAP HDRDLB RACE of 16 aovs One and a half mile, over 6 flights of hurdles, about 3ft 6in high. Second horse to receive 60s from the stake. Nomi ation 10s, acceptance. ss. 2. NOVEL HURDLE RACE of 20 sovs. One and a half mile. Over 6 flights of hut die* about 3ft 6ia high. Post entrance 10s. Winner to be sold, and the whole of the proceeds to go to the funds of the Club. Weight 10st. 8. TIN WALD CUP, a handicap of 30 sovs. One and a half mile Second horse to receive £6 from the stakes. Nomination 16a, acceptance 15s. 4. TROTTING RACE, a Time Handicap of 16 sovs. Three miles. Second horse to receive 60s from the stake. No weight under 10st. Nomination 10s, acceptance, 6&. 6. MAIDEN RACE of 10 sovs. One mile. Weight for age. Entrance 10s. 6. FLYING HANDICAP of 10 soys. Six furlongs. Entrance 10a. Cnp winner to carry 71b penalty: 7. BELLING HACK RACE of 10 sovs. Half-mile. Winner to be sold for £lO, any surplus to go to the lands of the Club. Post entry, 10s Weight ftet up. 8. CONSOLATION HANDICAP of 10 sovs. One mile. Entrance 10s. 9. HURRY SCURRY for all entrance money. Entrance 10s. For horses that have never won public mcney. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except under the following eruditions—Th it all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be deeded by the Mo wards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme to be final. 2. The Races are open to any horse commonly resident in the district from the Ist of October to the date of meeting,and owned b w - a person who has resided in the district daring the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on the north by the Selwyn River and on the south by the Orari. 5. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accordance with this programme for expenses of the course. 6. All nominal ions and acceptances go to the funds of the Olab.
