BRITISH AND FOREIGN [rBOTER's TBLEGtAMS COPYRIGHT.] THE EXHIBITION. Lojjdow, November 1L Mr Stanhope, Secretary of State for the Colonies, entertained the AgentsGeneral at dinner yesterday. In proposing the toast of his guests, Mr Stanhope declared that the whole Empire would derive great benefit from the Indian and Colonial Exhibition. He expressed the hope that one of the results of the Exhibition would be to promote the consolidation of the different portions of her Majesty's dominions. The success of the Exhibition he declared was important in promoting Imperial federation. BURMAH. Rangoon. November 11. General Sir Frederick Roberts, who arrived in this town, will forthwith proceed to Martdalay, to take command of the British forces in Upper Burmab. FLOODS. Boms, November 11.
