WOOL SALES.

[REUXEE’a TELEGRAMS —COPYRIGHT.] Melbourne, November 11. Goldsbrough and Co, held their usual weekly sale yesterday. There was a large attendance of .home and foreign buyers, and competition was brisk. The catalogue comprised 7000 tales, including several well known Riverina and Victorian clips, which realised very satisfactory prices. Good greasy fleece realised nd, good greasy lambs, ii3/|d, good scoured Six thousand bales were sold, including those disposed of privately. The sale was considered the most satisfactory one of the season. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company held their usual weekly sale this afternoon, the attendance of buyers being large. The catalogue comprised 4000 bales, and 3700 bales were disposed of at satisfactory priees. Competition was well sustained, and for all good qualities prices were firm. There is no change to report on the local market generally. Greasy wool sold up to scoured realised 13d. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited, has just received the following cable message from London, dated 10th November: — Wool—The Antwerp sales of Australasian wools opened at the level of prices of the last London Sales. For River Plate wool the Antwerp market is unchanged.
