November 2. Considerable exctcem nt was caused in the city to-day by the receipt of information that a bOoz nugget had been found at Teetnlpa diggiaga. It appears th's fiue piece of gold was unearthed about ten days ago, hut the lucky party kept it quiet. Saw a small piece of gol 1 about produced from a gully about ha>f a mile south-east of Brady’s gully; also a fair prospect washed from one dish of wash dirt. The sinking is 16ft, and several men are working in this gully; hope it will prove payable. The population is steady, and good work is being dome by the diggers. The big nugget has been taken to Perershnrg, where it was weighed, and gave SOf oz It will bo la town to morrow.” Tttere is no doubt the gold-bearing area is extending, and greater confidence is being manifested in the fisld. It is warm and very dnsty up there.
