THE NEW HEBRIDES. London. November 6.
Sir Graham Berry, who has been informed that the withdrawal of the French troops from the New Hebrides is improbable, pressed Hon E. Stanhope to again urge the French Government to withdraw from the New Hebrides.
SOCIALISTS.
The Socialists have abandoned the idea of forming a procession to follow the Lord Mayor’s show on the 9th inst, and instead <>f that they will hold a mass meeting in Trafalgar square. The police authorities are making arrangements for preventing the mass meeting of Socialists proposed to be held in Trafalgar squan on the occasion of the Lord Mayor’s Show.
