HANDICAP HURDLE RACE of 15 eovs. One and a half mile, over 6 flights of hurdles, about 3ft 6in high. Second horse to receive 50s from the stake. Nomination 10a, acceptance, sa. 2; NOVEL HURDLE RACE of 20 sovs. One and a half mile. Over 6 flights of haidie" about 3ft 6ia high. Post entrance 10s. Winner to be sold, and the whole of the proceeds to go to the funds of the Club. Weight lOat. 3. TINWALD CUP, a handicap of 30 sova. One and a half mile. Second horse to receive £5 from the stakes. Nomination 16a, acceptance 15a. 4. TROTTING RACE, a Time Handicap of 15 sovs. Three miles. Second horse to receive 60s from the stake No weight under lOat. Nomination 10a, accept* ance, sk. 6. MAIDEN RACE of 10 sova. One mile. Weight for age. Entrance 10a. 6. FLYING HANDICAP of 10 sovs. Six furlongs. Entrance 10a. Cup winner to carry 71b penalty: 7. BELLING HACK RACE of 10 sots. Half-mile. HURRY SCURRY for all entrance money. Entrance 10s. For horses that have never won public money. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except under the following ccnditions—Th it all disputes, claims, ard objections arising out of the racing shall be dec d< dby the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme to be final. 2. C.J.C New Rules will be in force. 3. The Races are open to any horse commonly resident in the district from the Ist of October to the date of meeting,and owned by a person who has resided in the district dnring the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on the north by the Selwyn River and on the south by the Orari. 5. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accordance with this programme for expenses of the courea. 6. All nominations and acceptances go to the funds of the Club.
