RULES ANd"k7qULATIONB. 1. No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of toe 'racing shall be decided by the Stewards, o| whom they may appoint; their deoiatep on all points connected with carrying out this programme to be final. 2. A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident in the district lying between the rivers Selvyn and Wattaki from July Ist 1886, and up to the date cf the forthcoming meeting and owned by a person who has raslded in the said distrct during the same period. 3. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accordance with this programme for expenses the course. _ 4. All nominations and acceptances go to the fundi of the Club. NOMINATIONS. All nominations to be accompanied by fees, name, age and description of horse, and colors of rider, and in the hands Of the Secretary (address — Ashburton) hot later than 9 p.m. on Monday November 11886. " WEIGHTS. Weights for the first day’s handicape will be declared on Thursday 1886. Weights for the second dag% handicaps will be declared at 9 o’clock -on the evening of the first day’s racing. ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day’s hand!* . caps must be made to the Secretary not later than 9 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 1886.
