Christchfr h, November 1. There was a heavy shower last night but the tracks are in cap Mal order this morning. Nelson was sent three ranks and a half at good half speed and pulled up sound. Galatea went a mile and a half at three-quarter pace, movi g fairly well. Creeduiity did afive furlong spin alone on the grass. Rspose and Silvermark covered the same distanca at top, Goodman’s colt being in first. Russley was sent three miles, the half steady, the r at fast Derringer went once round the tan at half uni complet d another circuit rn the same track in 2c l in 4Jeco Kimberley and Bronte did half a-mile at nearly top in company, the halt brother of Nelson having all his own w*y. Both moved very well. 1 eon did s' rung work, pirt in comptny with the Albany-Mknon fillv. Tasman, with tweateis on, did a capita l , gallop, liken a'ong first by Rubina, th< n by Hermitage, .. Rubina galloped very strongly, Hermitage was unable to make the pace for the old horse. Cremorce and Pasha were twice ronnd the tan together Crcmo-ne led Pasha all the w»y, the latter moved in a very laborred. style. Sierra twice round at a good paca. Pe'er Osbeck did two ai d a-half mile at three quarter epaed. Forester went twice round galloping unkindly. M.rioo did two-and-half miles at a good running very strong. It?po and Alpine Rose, after a slow canter on the tan, stripped and did two rounds at top, the De»by colt g ing the better of ihe two Deceiver did long slow work, partly with Rob Roy. Talebearer was sweated Sextant uii a five furlong spirt alone hr. did not please his friends. Ike and Vinagrette went twice round at a good three quarter pace. Artillery, with G. Williams j np, got once round the tan tn 2min Bee, Tit Bit accompany in s. St Swithin and Stives slow work. Ruby and Patrician ' covered one mile and a half fast, t e 1 latter holding his own all the wiy I Chantilly, Moana and Fair Neil went once round the cooiss proper Chantilly apparently having the bait of the. finish. The round was done in two minutes five seconds. Rocket did half pace work on the tan Feme ha.f a mile on the grass at t<*p, Longw-ust and Fag once round the tin steadily Eufillada and Fngi g ment cantered. Ki> g*sk, Irish King and Tres Sec did us ful work. Loohiel, Disowned and Torrent did not appear before breakfast.
