A Young Pirate. A boy of 11 years, named Alfred Patterson bad been committed for trial at the Snpreme Coart on a charge of stealing a yacht from the North Shore. The accused went off to sea In the vessel, evidently on a piratical cruise, but as the whole equipment consisted of several marbles and some primitive fishing tackle he was forced to land at Whangaparoa, 30 miles up the coast, where he was arrested. On a second charge of housebreaking Patterson wan sentenced to 3 months hard labor and to be well birebed. Recaptured. Dunedin, October 23. Fisher was arrested at 4 30 this morning on board the Marmion at the Rattray street wharf.
