The following is the Corn Exchange report for the week finding Friday, October 22nd :

We bear oi large acresge of peta'oes being planted ; no doubt the dlffi u ty in quitting surplus stocjkj having some influence with planters. The markets in both grain and rodu e are en irely without animation, and la>t week’s prices caa bo repeated without iemark?. Wheat.—Pearl ani Tuscan (firm) at 4s 5d ; Hui prs’ 4i 4d ; second quality, 4s to 4a 3d ; and oticken wheat, 3s 8d to 3a lid.
Oats —Milling, 2s 5d ; short feed (weak) at 2s 3J to 2s 4d ; Danuh and Tartars, 2s to 2s 2d.
Barley.—Malting, 2i 7d to 2s lOd ; feed, 2s 4d to 2s Beans and Peas —No busijieas doing except for snia'l parcels for seed purpos a Ryo — achino dressed, 5s to fig 3d; farme s’ ja'co’s, 3s 9d to 4s 31. Cocksfoot, bright hoa>y seed, 4d to 4gd. Potat es have no euquiiy. Prices are nominally 22s Gi at country slat one. Daby Prcdu e. Butter Is weak at 7d, Ohsese ranges from 6d to 6Jd.
