THE SENTENCE ON HALL.
Dunedin, October 21. An Impression has got abroad that the sentence for the term of hia natural life passed on Hall means something different to imprisonment for life. The AttorneyGeneral states that each is not the ease, and the sentence means twenty years, which will be reduced by good conduct. [We confess that we shared the same impression with regard ti this matter. iSo. Guardian ]
