MELBOURNE WOOL SALES. Melbourne October 13
Messrs Goldsborough held their second sale of the season this afternoon the rooms being crowded with buyers. Competition for all lots was keen, especially on the part of the foreign buyers. The catalogue comprised 4150 bales, of which 3900 were sold Interior to good greasy merino realised from 6to is per lb 3 medium to good scoured sold at from is 2d to IS 73/fd per lb. The bulk of the greasy wool was disposed of to Continental buyers. N.S.W. PARLIAMENT. Sydney, October 13. The vote of censure on Government, proposed by Sir H. Parkes, was negatived in the Legislative Assembly last night by 58 to 34- The session is expected to come to a close by the beginning of next week.
