THE HALL CASE.
THE TRIAL The examination of Norse Ellison was concluded at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon at which hour the Court adjourned till the following day. TO-DAY’S PROCEEDINGS Ohbisxchcbch, October 13 Dr Maclntyre was the fir.st witness called this morning when the healing of the poisoning case was resumed The Attorney-General examined him He described the symptom? of Mrs H ill s illness subsequent to her confinement, her gradual sinking till she was in a state of collapse on August 15. He denied that Hall had suggested any of the consultations with the other doctors _ His evidence—in-chief was largely a repetition of that given in the lower Court Bottles containing evacuations from Mrs Hall at various dates since the arrest were ident fied by Dr Maclntyre, the Attorney-General explaining that they were produced in order to show at a later period that the quantity of antimony in Mrs Hall’s system gradually decreased ■!nce the arrest Dr Maclntyre said that Hall Knew «.hat teste were b dog made for albumen or sugar in order to see if Mrs Hall was Buffeting from kidney disease or diabetes in July last. ■
