PROPERTY SALE
Mr T. Bullock reports having held a sale by auction on Saturday, October 9tb, at the Arcade, of part of Grove Farm estate, out up into allotments varying in size from 5 acres up to 30 acres. Thera was a numerous attendance, and for the land of first-class quality biddings were fairly spirited, and up to £3O per acre was obtained, but for the Inferior portion biddings were languid, and it was difficult to effect sales, the remarks made being, “ Offer us first-class land and we will give good prices.” Out of the 24 lots offered 11 were sold at the following prices, viz :
a. r. p. Lot 5, containing 5 1 22 at £19 per core 6, .. 4 3 29 at £31 per acre 9. .. 6 1 21 at £18 per acre 10, .. 5 1 37 at £18 per aere 11, 6 3 12 at £30 per acre 12, .. 6 2 21 at £30 per aere 13, „ 5 1 18 at £18 per acre 37, „ 10 0 1 at £18 per acre 38, „ 32 2 5 at £14 10s so:e 43, „ 10 0 1 at £19 per aere 44, „ 10 0 4 at £20 par aere
