Numbers are leaving daily. There are about 800 on the field, who are stiff sting great hardships and misery now, and sta ration must ensue. Some of he finest class of men and the completes! outfits 'ever seen on an Australian goldfield are on the groand, no expense having been spared. At Derby the Derby sto e keeper cleared out, otherwise his life w mid have p-nd the penalty of his report* about the field.
