RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint ; their decision on all points connected with carrying cut this programme to bo final. 2. A district horso shall mean any horse that, has been commonly resident in the district lying between tho rivers Sclwyn and Waitaki from July Ist 1886, and up ■ to the da*e cf the forthcoming meeting and owned by a person who has resided in the said district during the same period. 3. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accordance with this programme for expenses of the course. 4. All nominations and acceptances go 4o the fundi cf the Club. NOMINATIONS. All nominations to bo accompanied by fees, name, age and description cf horse, and colors of rider, and in the hands of the Secretary (address —Ashburton) not lat r than 9 p.m, on Monday November 1 1886 WEIGHTS. Weights for the first day’s handicaps will be declared on Monday November 15 1836. Weights for the second day’s handicaps will be declared at 9 o’clock on the evening of the first day’s racing. ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the IDst day’s handicaps must be made to the Sscre'ary not later than 9 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 1886.
