Three per cent Consols are quoted at 100%. The Bank rate remains at 3 per cent and the market rate at 2per cent. New Zealand Five per cent 10.40 loan, 101 ; Four and a-Half per cent 5.30 loan, New Zealand Four per cent Inscribed Stock, 98%. Soptember 2?. Wool—At to-day’s sales 13 000 bales were offered. Market was strong. New Zealand securities remain unchanged. N.Z. prime mutton is from 4%d to 4 J 4d. Australian beef tallow, 23s 6d; mutton tallow, 265. SYDNEY. Sydney, Sep f . 23 Themeat market remains unchanged Beef, 32s per xoolbs; mutton, per lb. September 24. New Zealand wheat, 43 3d per bushel; oats, 23 6d; miize, 333 d per s6lbs; Sugar Company’s No 1 pieces, per ton.
