AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT.
Messrs Macpherson, Sampson, and Co, report cn their weekly sale, hsld at the Central Auction Mart, on Saturday, 18th Sept. The attendance of farmers and country people was rather meagre, the former being busily engaged in putting down the remainder of their crops since the favorable weather sat in. Cows in profit, from £2 2i calves, la per head. Pies —Weanera and stores, 2s 91 to 3s 3d. Poultry, Is 31, Is fid, to 2s per pair. Produce.— Oats, Canadian (seed parcel), 2a 3£d per bushel; long Tartars, 2s 2d , Chlckwbeat, 2a fid to 2s lid per bushel. Peas—Yeitch’s Perfection, 4£d to 5:1 per quart. Potatoes —Derwents, 4s, 4s 9J, 5a 3d, 5s 91 per sack ; Sutton’s flour balls, 6s per sack ; Bath kidneys (seed), |d to Id per lb. Onions, Id to per lb. App’es, 4s per case ; hams, per lb ; mutton hams, 4d par lb. Quantity of harness and sundries sold at satisfactory p-icea.
