HORSE MARKET.
Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, Sept. 18th : There was a very fair attendance of farmers and other country settlers, and biddings for all classes of horses offered were fairly spirited, especially for medium draughts. Out of the entry of eleven, seven were sold as follows : Aged draughts £lO 10s, £lO 10s, and for a six-year old of a fairly good stamp up to £23 10s was obtained ; three ana four-year-olds of a light descrip lion, £6 10s to £9 15s. Sundries —Second-hand drays, £9, £lO 5s ; tip-cart, £ll. I held a sale of Tiuwald properties previous to the usual horse sale, a number of which were sold. Particulars will appear in future report
