London, September 16‘ A cricket match, tendered as a complimentary benefit to the Australian cricketers was played at Lord’s yesterday and to day, between a selected English team and the Australian Eleven, The attendance was large and the weather splendid. The Home team want in first, and compiled 319, Grace tatog the chief scorer. The Australian -made 296, Jones, bowled. 67, and Jarvfa, bowled, '64, being the most success n foa amen. The second innings of the Englishmen closed for 196 Able scored 62.
The Australians in the second Innings lost two wickets for 13 runs, and as the match was oily a two days' one, it resulted In a draw.
