[rklter’s telegrams— copyright.] Melbourne. September 15. In reply to a communication from the Governor of Victoria, asking whether he has a vessel available for despatch to the New Hebrides for the purpose of protecting British interests in those islands, Admiral Tryon has stated that two men-of-war are already at the New Hebrides, and that he believes the state of affairs there has been exaggerated.
