September 10 The Earl of Iddesleigh, Foreign Secretary, has summoned Sir Edward Thornton, British Ambassador, from Constantinople to discuss the situation arising out of the crisis in Bulgaria. The great European powers are at present engaged in exchanging views in regard to the political situation in Bulgaria. In the House of Commons to-day Sir James Fergusson, Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in reply to a question, expressed a belief that no Power would act in contravention of the Treaty of Berlin. Constantinople, September 10. The latest intelligence from Bulgaria states that Prince Alexander has not yet started for Darmstadt as previously reported, but has summoned the National Assembly to meet tomorrow, and intends to leave afterwards.
