\V. WUmau’a saddlery at Wyndham was burned down on Sunday. The stock and furniture were imured for £3OO in the New Zealand office. The buildings were also insured, but it is not known -o what amount. Wyndham Dairy Factory Company has declare a divident of 10 per cent and devote some to paying off their indebtedness. Tramways. The Invercargill Tramway and plant has been purchased by a syndicate of Christchurch and Invercargill business men. Negotiations were conducted by Mr G. F. Martin, Christchurch, now of the N. M. and A. Co , but late of Invercargill, and the price is understood to be £3OOO. .
