FURTHER PARTICULARS, IsvEßOAßcau,, September 2. A fatal fire occurred last night. About 10 o’clock a bouse in Liddell street, owned and occupied by a widow flamed Kaill, was burned down. She lived there with four children and a servant named Flora McLeod. The latter makes the following statement :—“ The inmates of the house retired shortly before 10 p,m. They all occupied the same compartment, a bedroom close to the kitchen. About a quarter of an' hour or twenty minutes after they got into bed, the girl was alarmed by a smell and crackling sound, and on jumping up found the kitchen and passages in flames. She called Mrs Kaill, and urged her to get out of the house with remaining child, a boy of three years, but she replied to the effect that she could not do bo.
