Sranfeltil Mliilob. New Plymouth, September 1. The Wcaieyan Conference Evangelist Mission, conducted by the Rev. B. Smalley and Mesdamea Smalley and McDonald, came to a successful close this evening by a temperance demonstration, with procession and out-door address. The Church was a terwards crowded, and 300 blue ribbons were donned, more than half being new pledges. Wise I'nioia Company's Boats. Dunedin, September 1. The Union Company has decided to forthwith pnt the Mararoa on tbe inter* colonial trade to resume weekly connection between Sydney and Auckland ; the whole of the Melbourne steamers, instead of each alternate one, as now, to proceed to Sydney pending the Mararoa’s return. Thg Hanroto will be employed in the Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne trade, taking up the running on September Bih. Her place on the Sydney Cook Strait note will be taken by the Tekapo, leaving Dunedin on the 16th. Mat Expected to Recover. Mr Bradshaw had a bad relapse during the night, and there is now no hope of bia recovery. Death of Mr Bradshaw, K.H.B. Mr O. B. Bradahaw, member, for Dunedin Central, died this afternoon.
