Xhe Debate. [REUTER S TELEGRAMS—COPYRIGHT ] London, August 29. In the debate in the House of Com. mens to-day, on the motion for the Address in Reply, Mr Chamberlain urged that the present Government should not be overthrown while the alternative was the appointment of a Ministry which favored the separation of Ireland from Great Britain.

Major-General Sir Redvers Buller has proceeded ro Ireland to organise measures for the suppression of boycotting, and enquire into the working of the land system.
