RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1 No entry will be received excspt on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with carrying out this programme to bo final. 2. A district horse shall moan any horse that has been commonly resident in the district lying between the rivers Selwyn and Waitaki from July Ist 1880, and up to the date cf the forthcoming meeting and owned by a person who hns resided in the said district during the same period, 3. Five per cont will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accordance with this programme for expenses of the course. 4. All nominations and acceptances go to the funds of tho Club. NOMINATIONS. All nominations tube accompanied by fees, name, ago and description of horse, and colors of rider, and In the hands of tho Secretary (address —Ashburton) not later than 9 p in. on Monday November 1 1886. WEIGHTS. Weights for the first day’s handicaps will be declared on Monday November 15 1836. Weights for tho second day’s handicaps will be declared at 6 o’clock on the evening of tho first day’s racing. ACCEPTANCES, Acceptances for the first day’s handicaps must be made to the Secretary not later than 9 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 1886.
