A football match between a team representing Merivalo (Christchurch) and the Temuka Football Clubs was played at the Sports Ground to-day. A start was made shortly after 2.30, and it was arranged that the game should bo played in two 35 minute spel's. At the end ol the first spell Merivalo had scored 14 pointg and Temufca uil.
