THREATENING THE PREMIER.
Welungto.v, August 18. The man Agnew who, with his wife, has been hauut'ng the Parliaments}y precincts all the sesaion, was arrested this afternoon for using threatening language to the Premier and other members some time ago. The pair were forbidden to enter the. grounds, and since then have always stood, wet or dry, at one of the gates. Latterly a policeman has been I stationed to watch them, as it was rumoured that Agnew had been trying to | purchase a revolver.

At the R.M, Court William Agnew on a charge.of annoying the Premier in the street was bound over ..to keep the peace for 3 months la sureties of £25.
Later. Agnew has refused to find bail mid has been committed to g*o| log $ mootlu!
